Our unique financial planning process, Legacy for Life® includes four distinct phases:

Phase One: Discovery

We meet with you to gain an understanding of your current situation, your risk tolerance and the goals for you and your loved ones. You will also become more familiar with our philosophies, investment strategies and approach to helping you with strategies that seek to maintain and grow your wealth.

Phase Two: Set the Compass

After we analyze and evaluate your financial status and understand what’s most important to you, our team will help position your portfolio to take advantage of cash flow opportunities. During this process, we will work with you and your other professional advisors to develop a detailed plan centered on your goals and dreams.

Phase Three: Progress Report

You will receive a written step-by-step process of the recommended strategies we tailor to fit your unique needs, and continue to present new opportunities as the needs of you and your loved ones evolve with the passage of time.

Phase Four: Living Your Legacy

One of our CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioners will monitor your cash flow and net worth on a quarterly basis to ensure your strategies are effectively working for you. This will include ongoing communication and collaboration with your other professional advisors, when necessary.

We believe that ALL Americans should have access to independent and affordable advice. This is why we developed a Comprehensive Financial Wellness program to bring the fiduciary standard to all Americans. We deliver accountability through one-on-one interaction for all employees regardless of job title or income.

Hefty Direct

Customized investment strategy options and financial planning services delivered by registered financial advisors. The use of our integrated technology platform provides exceptional service delivered at your convenience. Services include retirement planning, education planning and risk management.


Services to not-for-profit organizations include a spirit of board service and volunteerism as well as leveraging our established investment management framework at a reduced cost. Our objective is to save organizational management costs to allow more funds to be used to meet the mission or each organization. We work with investment committees on their fiduciary responsibility regarding the good stewardship of the organizational funds as well as on the suitability of the current Investment Policy Statement.
